Πέθανε η σύζυγος του Τζον Τραβόλτα, Κέλι Πρέστον

Έφυγε από τη ζωή σε ηλικία 57 ετών η σύζυγος του Τζον Τραβόλτα και επίσης ηθοποιός, Κέλι Πρέστον (Kelly Preston), την Κυριακή 12 Ιουλίου.

Η Πρέστον πάλεψε για δύο χρόνια με τον καρκίνο του μαστού όμως δεν τα κατάφερε.

Την είδηση του θανάτου της γνωστοποίησε ο σύζυγός της, Τζον Τραβόλτα.

«Με μεγάλη μου λύπη σας ενημερώνω ότι η όμορφη σύζυγός μου, Κέλι, έχασε τη μάχη που έδινε επί δύο χρόνια με τον καρκίνο του μαστού» έγραψε στο Instagram ο ηθοποιός.

Η Κέλι Πρέστον και ο Τζον Τραβόλτα είχαν παντρευτεί πριν 28 χρόνια και απέκτησαν τρία παιδιά, ηλικίας 20, 16 και εννέα ετών.

Ωστόσο, ο 16χρονος γιος τους, Jett, πέθανε το 2009 ενώ η οικογένεια βρισκόταν στις Μπαχάμες για διακοπές.

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.  My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.  But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal.
